With the Grand Isle Tarpon rodeo this weekend, a friend said there are always an influx of hookers there on standby.

From what I’ve been told, tarpon rodeo goes in waves. Years of too much partying/hookers/trashy stuff happens and they crack down, wanting a more family friendly atmosphere. But then the bars and locals get mad because they don’t make as much money, and they start to relax the rules again and the debauchery once again ensues. Not sure if they have found a happy medium yet.

It’s nothing like it was about 15 years ago.
In high school we used to setup in the front yard of a friend’s camp on the highway and just BS with everyone stuck in traffic. It was like a parking lot.
