I want to say there's 5 Asian based massage places in a 2-3 miles radius in Shreveport.
That's part of kings highway and Youree drive
Then there's the Chinese magic hands that relocated and is probably still operating under that same name in the city

North LA is the reason this state will never legalize marijuana recreationally and see the benefits of that tax bump. I really wish it was its own state. The governor is a bigger idiot than I thought if he even weighs in on this

Show of hands of those people who are 99% sure this clown has used the term "snowflake" to complain about some lefty a-hole being offended by something?
I'm an adult...I don't get offended by things.

I’m not offended and I think the US stance on nudity is way too conservative. I just think given what the laws are, the OP seems to have a problem with society’s stance on nudity and instead of directing the complaint on the government getting involved with a “trivial” matter such as a billboard.
If thousands of people are complaining about something, the government should look into if the situation is illegal or not. Society norms on nudity should be relaxed, but unfortunately they are not. There is a line somewhere and I don’t think it’s out of line for the government to discuss where that line is given the will of the people.

She’s not naked.
And those thousands of people you are referring to could come from anywhere. There’s no geographical discrimination on who can sign the petition. Plus, those thousands make up less than 1% of the population of Shreveport.

Yes and that is saying something...

Is that the benchmark? What if she were sucking on a dildo instead of a cherry?
What if she was shot from waist up and wearing a tiny bra?
I’m not offended by this at all, but you have to admit there is a line where it becomes over the top. All I’m saying is who determines that line? If thousands of people complain, I think it is warranted to investigate. Not sure how anyone could reason otherwise.

They want the freaking government involved with a billboard.
This is the kind of thing that should be handled exactly by local government. Communities can establish their own guidelines of what is or isn't perceived as excessively lewd. So long as the government is acting in accordance with the will of local population, I see no issue with "government" being involved. I find it problematic when many conservatives find dogma in the rhetoric of "government" involvement in anything as being inappropriate. Government is essential at resolving disputes and enforcing community standards.

You stop saying the pledge and people start thinking we live in a democracy.

These are probably the same people, on election day, who says "we need smaller government".
How does that picture hurt anyone? It might be a little "sexualized", but if you are an adult you should be mature enough to just maybe laugh at it and go on with you day... Kids.. They are likely not really seeing it in a sexual way. Now if it was a picture of her butt arse naked, with her legs spread open, with her finger stuck in her junk I might get it.. maybe. but frick..

Not inherently, but the whole post I responded to was riddled with the word. And it's not applicable to this situation.

So what? Why do you need to bring in hypothetical to support your position?

Again, hypothetical.

Again, thousands of people that amount to less than 1% of Shreveport's population. Thousands of people who may or may not actually live in the area. Why is she petitioning the governor? Is the billboard located outside the corporate limits? Seems like, at best, this is a local government issue, not a state issue. And that the company that owns the billboard should be responsible for the content of said billboard.
The billboard is suggestive. Not, in my opinion, lewd/indecent/obscene.

The Hustler club has responded to the petitions. They have been changed in both Shreveport and Bossier.

100% real. I drove by it this morning and almost wrecked laughing.

I drive past this billboard almost everyday. They've had a new tramp rotating for a few months maybe a year. I've been wondering when someone would start raising hell about it. I hope it doesn't get taken down as it brightens up my day just a little bit.
