'China can be sued before international tribunals'
Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, an Israel-based attorney with specialization in suing terrorist regimes and state sponsors for violating human rights said that “an argument could be made that just like support for terrorism, which is legally actionable, a government that engages in such reckless disregard and negligence and covers up an epidemic which has the potential to spread worldwide could be held legally liable.”

The expert further said China cannot be blamed for creating the virus but can be held responsible for not sounding the international alarm about the outbreak.

The latest study by the University of South Hampton in the UK had said China could have prevented 95 per cent of coronavirus infections if its measures to contain the outbreak had begun three weeks earlier.

'COVID-19 could have been reduced by 66 per cent if measures were taken a week earlier'
"Coronavirus cases could have been reduced by 66 per cent if the measures were taken a week earlier or by 86 per cent if action began two weeks earlier. If the action was taken three weeks later, then the situation could have worsened 18-fold," said the study.

As per the timeline by Axios, it was December 10 when China reported the first patient that started showing COVID-19 like symptoms.

The governments can sue China before international tribunals for violating its obligation to report the coronavirus outbreak early.

The world should take every action short of war to make them pay for this.

They falsified data, sent out fake samples, lied to other countries, and have been actively attempting to curtail relief efforts within other countries.

I’m sure the Chinese will be happy to pay any and all restitution. I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to state their case in a fair and impartial international court room.

Not saying that I want to go to war but when a country does this it certainly sounds a lot like they have already gone to war.

Oh wouldn’t it be ironic for the “this is nothing” crowd if the Coronavirus caused World War 3?

I disagree we should try to avoid war but if China doesn’t want to play then take the gloves off and go at them no holds barred no mercy war like no one has ever seen.

Can we sue our government when we find out they have been lying to us and withholding info?

The real way to hurt China is to quit buying crap made in China. In the short term that is probably unlikely, but if countries would start production of products in their own country China would collapse. It will take years to get to this point but you have to start somewhere. Depending on China for everything we need puts us in the position we are experiencing today. China is holding the world hostage with the withholding of PPE to other countries. China

Our Navy blocks their main ports - anything comes in/out, blow it up.
No air traffic allowed outside of border.
Any roads in/out, blocked.
Let them implode on themself.

Oh wait....I just started WWIII.
