What's the new recruit pool looking like? I can't imagine kids are wanting to be cops when they grow up these days... we may not see the full ramifications of this until the current youth enters the workforce
I, for one, am excited about this prospect. Then we can finally implement that national police force in all cities and towns across America. That will be a fine day, won’t it, comrade?
Or the private security forces roaming the streets for large companies and whatnot.
Dystopia...here we come!

You are absolutely right with everything except this. It is just racism.
Well yeah, just using that term so people will know what I mean.

I know one officer that told his kid he would pay for all of his college as long as he wasn't planning on going into L.E. afterwards.
I think over the next few years hiring pools are going to get pretty bad.
I can't imagine that's going to be anything but horrible for fire and ems as well.
Can you imagine getting a call on Gus young at 1 am on a Saturday and they can't get any cops to respond?

An on air anchor stated that they knew basically all of the personal information of each juror and pretty much threatened to release it if the verdict wasn’t what they wanted.

Yea that’s correct. Not sure of the exact numbers but i know it’s much more than normal attrition.

I’ll look for a link later on when I get off of work. I’ll add it if I find it.

A BRPD cop recently told me, "of all those guys they just graduated from our academy, maybe two should actually be cops."
When I lived in BR, circa 2012 the last year, I remember interacting with this black female Officer when I reported a vehicle break-in. She had one of the most ghetto attitudes I have seen. It was like she was bothered to write a report to the victims of the break-in. I was blown away by the unprofessionalism and shite attitude.

Chauvin murdered a guy in cold blood.
Any cop upset about his conviction is a piece of shite.

Good for you! I lived in Baton Rouge for several years and that’s one of the worst police departments I have had the pleasure of encountering. Now go enjoy your life knowing you aren’t being paid to incarcerate people!

Good on you bro. We probably know a lot of the same guys.
I got out of LE about a decade ago after being in most of my adult life. It stays in the blood, but the private sector has been much better for me and mine.
I don't regret my time in and wouldn't change a thing if I had to do it over again.

Good for you. It sucks when people like Koy Moore lie and the media hounds use it to promote more racial divide. Not to mention making it even harder for policemen to do their job.
Koy Moore will face no backlash and still be allowed to play while the cops were purported by the media to be at fault. SIckening.

Oh look, another chucklefrick who didn't actually watch any of the trial and just takes his marching orders from whatever racist organization he happens to be jerking off to at the moment.

Funniest time was when I was at a bar (underage) and one of the ABC cops started chasing me. Got around the corner and climbed into one of those salvation army donation boxes.
Passed out. Woke up the next morning.
Knew what the "walk of shame" was like for girls when I was climbing out and some folks were walking by headed to church.
