Not just the illegal kind but also legal immigration as well.
H1B Visas are a huge problem and do their part to drive down wages for American workers and drive them out of their profession.
We gaslight so many kids in America by telling them to work hard towards a STEM degree and they'll soon be making the big bucks with it.
And then we promptly ignore those kids to import and hire cheap labor from India, China and the rest of Asia to save money on labor costs and then we tell those kids to train their replacements or no severance package for them.
And then those kids are driving for Uber or slinging pizzas for Dominos.

It has nothing to do with Yang and I don't think you have any coherent idea of my political or economic ideas. I've only participated in a handful of threads of the last couple years where I notice some incorrect group think discussion occurring (in my opinion of course) and feel a dissenting opinion may provide some interesting discussion.
It usually takes a few pages before I get a couple posters to engage with me beyond the name calling and generic "lol" posts.

Sometimes I agreed with that

LOL, nothing says free market like the government shutting down small business and letting the big box stores to continue unfettered
That was one of the dumbest takes I've seen in some time

Okay, let's say we actually implement a truly free market system right now. What do you think will happen?
You would probably find things a hell of a lot more affordable. You know, like people had 50 years ago.
All the government is doing is making the actual cost of living higher for everyone, and taking people out of the job market.
Then weirdly letting unskilled, uneducated people in the nation to try to put downward pressure on wages.
Its a mixed economy, which benefits the wealthy.

Most small business owners are not rich Scrooge McDucks swimming in piles of gold coins.
Most probably make somewhere between 60-100k working long hours.
They cant afford to pay their unskilled employees $15-20 an hour.

Bet the author never ran a business.
How are small businesses going to compete with government giveaway programs.

You have an apparent ignorance when it comes to basic free market economic theory. That's just a simple fact. It's not meant to be an insult. You simply don't know.
Hence why I told you to go read Man, Economy, and State before you start making proclamations about what is "fair labor" in a free market system.

It won’t matter when the dollar continues to devalue. Scarcity drives value and the dollar doesn’t seem so scarce anymore.
Taxes can’t possibly cover all of the spending these types want us to do and we can’t raise interest rates and ever hope to pay our debts, so inflation is the only other path available to us

Again, I am only talking about the requirements needed to determine fair market values for labor and it must include buyers and sellers who are not compelled, financially or otherwise.
Also worth noting is that if you set up a system in which there was not economic duress with people already having their basic needs met through some sort of social foundation, then you could see markets with both reduced gov't intervention and also with increased efficiency relative to generating fair market values.

That's what these people don't realize, the status quo benefits the wealthy and the large corporations.

The government prints money.
No business can compete.
And 70 morons agree with you.
Since no right is absolute. All 70 of you should no longer have the right to vote.

Well we have this. But people spend what is given to them on crap.
Or go buy a tv instead of pay rent.
Or continue to spit out children they will never feed on their own.
And of course there are people that dont. Some lose employment and use a social foundation to meet basic needs until they go find another job, then they get off it.
