Helluva shot.
quote:
"The officer opened his door, and the guy got out and ran out and grabbed the officer out of his car and started beating him profusely, throwing him to the ground and punching him in all different directions," said Holditch.
"I heard like three shots. He fell down on top of the police officer," said Mr. Smith, a witness. "After a moment, the police officer rolled him back over, got on his mic, then rolled over back on the ground besides the guy."
Helluva shot.

He'll probably get sued or something fricking stupid. Why? Because this is America 2016 and nobody wins.

They had one in FL a few years ago like this where the bad guy drew down on the officer and was about to execute him. Some baw driving by in a truck saw what was happening and swerved over and ran the bad guy down. It was big news at the time.

Member that time in Florida where that neighborhood watch guy shot that punk that was trying to kill him?

How does this work from a legal standpoint? I know the right to use deadly force usually extends to you and the lives of your family, but does it extend to strangers?
Regardless, I doubt this guy will be prosecuted, and rightfully so if the story is accurate.

ETA: Yeah, I member.
In hindsight, Trayvon and Zimmerman were equally as despicable, but Zimmerman had a gun.

Yes.... same kinda deal at the Auto Zone, corner or Joor and Greenwell Springs. I believe the guy that was killed owned a car audio store on Airline. I'm not sure of the legal outcome .

MAGA like a MOFO.
Eta: assaulting an officer usually means immediate death sentence anyway.
99% chance he was going for officer's gun in holster
Or
Would've grabbed for it once officer drew.

Years back? The exact same thing happened in 2005 in BR.

Of course it extends to strangers. Is this a serious question?
