Who got killed?
I think there were 2 homicides in SCP in 2019. One in January and another in November. Both incidents in St. Rose.

That's pretty fricking bad. So the dude tried to run, but wrecked into a ditch. The police hand him in handcuffs in back of the police vehicle, the cop went to investigate the guy at which point, while in handcuffs, was able to get into the front seat of the police vehicle and drive off.. while wearing handcuffs.. Made it into New Orleans, left the vehicle and was able to get away.. With handcuffs on..
They are supposed to have eyes on the suspect at all times right?

Seriously...from 2 to 4. Sounds like Chicago south.
Theres a old saying: something something something, stop digging...you need to heed that advice and stop posting.

Of the four homicides in St. Charles, one was a shooting in St. Rose, another was a drive-by shooting on Interstate 10 crossing the Bonnet Carre Spillway, one was a negligent homicide and the fourth was ruled justified after a pharmacist shot and killed an armed robber inside a Luling business. All have been solved except the spillway case

Per the Sherriff's Facebook page:
Suspect Wanted for Stealing SCSO unit taken into custody in Downtown New Orleans tonight..
About 30 minutes ago, several of our detectives in plain clothes staking out an area where the suspect Michael S. John was known to frequent spotted him in a convenience store in downtown New Orleans and have taken him into custody. He won't get away this time.

SCPSO is one of the most incompetent LEO agencies on the planet.
Link?
I have personal knowledge of a DUI accident where SCPSO botched the investigation. Dead guy and dead girl were actually in the back seat (when the accident happened) and were "found" to be the driver and front seat passenger. Dead people tell no tales.
A friend of mine came upon the accident after it happened and told me that he saw the people take their last breaths. Dead guy was a friend of a family member.
There's more to the story. The real driver and friend got to sit next to each other on the curb and concoct a story that the stupid SCPSO bought into.
That is why I think SCPSO is incompetent.

Hilarious that people from NOLA or Baton Rouge would criticize ANY police departments considering what they have.

A DUI accident where the two drivers conspired and then moved two dead bodies from the backseat to the front seat directly after an accident without forensic evidence or your friend's account of witnessing them take their last breaths in the backseat going on record....

There weren't two drivers. There was one driver and that person survived the accident. There were two dead people originally in the back seat and there were two alive people sitting on the curb together after the police arrived.
All I know is that the dead guy was absolutely not driving the car and I am 100% certain that this is true because of what was told to me by my friend (the witness who saw the guy die), the dead guy's family and my relative(s).
People lie all the time. Why wouldn't the survivors cover their own asses? Dead people can't dispute what happened.

I'd like to find the 110 lb guy who stole the police cruiser.
Buy him a beer. That took balls and the fact that he has disappeared with the car.....the man has skills
