I'm not linking any of these stories and giving them clicks, but it's democrat talking points everywhere you look now.

quote:

Louisiana 2050: Rising seas will upend life. Time is running out to limit the impact.

quote:

Ex-NFL star Warrick Dunn calls Clarence Thomas comments on mother's killing 'disrespectful'

Though they don't actually put any of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas' comments in the story, they just said he wrote the dissent on the case for the killer of Warrick Dunn's mom. They were also quick to point out that he's conservative and that he's wrapped up in controversial allegations of accepting bribes. No actual point or substance to the article at all.

quote:

Quin Hillyer: House Republicans would be suicidal if they rush to impeach Biden

quote:

Don't let a temporary juvenile jail become an Angola feature

I might as well turn to CNN with all this leftist bullshite. Just give me the sports and tell me what new store is being built and keep all the biased opinions out of it.

It’s been like that for years.

What did Clarence Thomas say about his mom’s killer/killing?

Dunn's mother, Baton Rouge police officer Betty Smothers, was slain by Brumfield and another man while off duty in 1993. Thomas' dissent praised Dunn for the way he advanced himself and supported his family after the killing — a stark contrast from the way Brumfeld had lived his life, the justice wrote.

Dunn did not appreciate those remarks, he said this week, some eight years after Thomas delivered them.

quote:

"And then you've got a Supreme Court justice saying good has come out of this," he said. "No, good hasn't come out of it, period."

"I just don't like it. It's disrespectful, it's rude," he added.

So he's mad that Thomas was glad that Warrick Dunn worked hard and improved himself with good life choices, and helped to provide for his siblings? idk why he's mad about that.

Has?

Where the hell have you been? Anyone still paying for that publication definitely has brain deficiencies.

If you are just discovering this...you've got bigger problems. Stop buying their stupid paper and/or clicking on their website.

When the Ford Foundation donates $1 million to The Picayune/Nola.com's investigative team, you know you better spout the neoliberal/modern Democrat Party/Woke party line: LINK /

John Georges be lovin' that free foundational gravy train.

Has The Picayune/Advocate printed/published a single word about the U.S. 5th Circuit's ruling upholding findings that the Biden-led government muscled Big Tech social media into censoring COVID and other viewpoints it doesn't like? I scan the website daily and don't think I've seen a single word about that historic case.

Maybe Dunn still feels anger over what happened and that he'd rather still have his mom alive rather than brutally murdered despite the good that came out of it.

Not sure how anyone can interpret that from the remarks he made.

Yes reading the main newspaper in the city we live in is “wandering out his silo”

If a local unbiased newspaper was available, I would pay $20/month for a subscription.

I want just the facts.

Their constant mistakes with basic grammar and the lack of an editor who catches those mistakes annoy me every time I read one of their articles.

This article was supported by a grant from the Walton Family Foundation administered by the Society of Environmental Journalists.

I've also noticed lately that WAFB channel 9 has apparently started drinking the climate-change kool-aid.
