Hey slick, my grandma lived in NOLA govt housing until 1990 and I sat in the dark with her and a fricking box fan because our electricity bill was too high and that's all we could afford. We made it out of there because we broke our back doing what we needed to do because we were sick and fricking tired of it. You make decisions in life, they have consequences, welcome to the real world.
Sitting in the dark with no AC aint shite. You get a dose of the real world in Nola and a fricking lightbulb and some cool air is the least of your worries. People go for months with no ac and lights because they'd rather buy a bag of brown.

But Eric Skrmetta says Entergy has this right. And I suppose they do, this is a reality. You have to pay for the service. But honestly, out public service commission really needs an overhaul. There have to be better ideas than this.
There are 4 motherfrickers on that DPS board - make sure you name them all.

How long am I going to have to listen to all you broke arse keeping up with the Jones’s fools and MSM sheep about your energy bills and gasoline fill ups? fricking worse than Cane’s price threads. Pathetic. Sacrificing tomorrow for a better today. Well, tomorrow is here.
Next time, get off your arse and go vote in every election. Educate yourself. Work and study hard. Educate and teach your children. Sacrifice a little today for a much better tomorrow. Maybe one day you won’t be a puppet on a string dancing to someone else’s beat.
But then again, the world needs people to be cooks and work the counter at Cane’s. Maybe it’s best that most people are dumb sheep so that those that aren’t will live good lives.
Brought to you by reality in the face.

Guess who controls ENTERGY? Vanguard Group/Blackrock. Guess who ran BlackRock’s ESG initiative, the destructive private component of the New World Order’s plans to use public-private partnerships to usher in The Great Reset? Today, he is the shot caller & Sr advisor in the Biden admin. Mr “Liberal World Order”, Brian Deese, is the ESG plant in the Biden White House.
ESG represents the most powerful tool the globalist elites are using to bring The Great Reset forward. While they rig elections and infiltrate governments to handle the public side of the public-private partnerships they envision, ESG is the tool through which to control the private side. They influence and oftentimes control major corporations through ESG, making companies beholden to their whims.
The rise of green energy, the need to combat climate change, and growing public knowledge of the supply chain are all driving consumers to brands that adopt ESG finance and operations.
CNN: "What do you say to those families that say, 'listen, we can't afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?’"
BRIAN DEESE: "This is about the future of the Liberal World Order and we have to stand firm."

As was told by the arbitrator in my S&WB appeal: “you have to pay because some people can’t afford to”

My bill this month was $438. Prior to this I’d barely ever crossed $300. I’m really dreading August and September bills.
At what point if you are blessed to have a whole home generator, you shut of electric power to your home and run on the generator for a few days to cut down on your Entergy electrical usage, while increasing your natural gas usage if those rates haven’t increased substantially.

The first thing one should do is define the term of art "Liberal World Order" which has been used for more than 8 decades in US Foreign Policy. If your definition isn't remarkably similar to "democracy" then you need to educate yourself.

Who buys the mutual funds and ETFs that hold shares of Entergy?
You are free to buy them out and run it yourself.

Agreed. Democracy is an illusion of the technocrats. We are already at the precipice and no one notices.

I find these threads fascinating. Why the frick do you people have such billing issues with your energy provider.
Kentucky Utilities is who we have here. The shite yall go on about is absolutely unheard of.
My electric bill is $200 flat a month. 2700 Sq ft house. I just read these threads and scratch my head. Why put up with this crap folks? It isn't like that everywhere. shite is not normal

I have level billing enabled so I haven't seen anything too major yet. I do feel for a lot of people whose bills have doubled unexpectedly tho

Trump knew it, I knew it, pretty much anyone with an intact front lobe knew but you fricking libs would vote in lock step because the trade off of the economy v. mean tweets was too good to pass up. But it doesn't mean that people can afford the current prices in some cases it doubled of what it was just 3 years ago.

They need to start a program where you pay the exact amount you paid last June or similar and make the difference be added to the cheaper winter months. It’s not like you’re going anywhere, there’s only one provider.

They do have a level billing program where they use a 12 month rolling average. So like I just paid June, and so last year's June bill fell off of my rolling average.
The only thing is you can't enroll in it until you've been with them for a year since you can't have a 12 month average if you haven't had service for 12 months. And by the time people are eligible they either don't know about it or don't care to enroll since it's an opt-in thing and it doesn't automatically switch.
I'm sure gradually month by month I'll eventually see the increased prices as old months get replaced by the new ones but at least I don't have my bill immediately double or some crap like that
