Golden Coral just advertised a "7 day brunch from 930-2pm" that I learned from continuing to watch this third trimester abortion of a college baseball game

I feel like this could be even worse than the current baseball game

OT Ballers, who has been?

I have gone to Golden Coral once in my life. I do not like buffets in general, I don't like the idea that I have a plate full of food that people have been hovering over.. With that said, GC is the worst.

The one time I went there, some of the food was cold (and this was like 11:30AM). The food that was heated as it needed to be was okay at best. I rather eat dog shite.

The Golden Corrall in Denhim is always packed. I mean packed at all times of the day. Curious what type of place it is since I've never been in one. Is it a buffet style place?

In general, the food isn't good. However, I wouldn't mind going every few years just to pile my plate full of macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy

Golden Feedlot would be a better name.

I honestly have no idea why anyone would ever go to a Golden Corral

I went last Sunday. There was no brunch. The only "brunch" food they had out was hash browns and bacon.

False advertising

If you can catch their fried chicken fresh it is legit.

I agree - their fried chicken is surprisingly good. I usually just eat steak, krab salad (I love that shite), a couple of rolls, & maybe some jacked-up nachos

I have been and the food is passable and okay for the price. First pass is a piled high meat only plate, followed by a veggie only plate, and finally a fruit plate. It worked for me.

I like buffets, and once every 7-8 years I forget how shitty GC is. I'm also usually very high. Even then, I regret it almost immediately.

Last time, it was about a year ago. Even just looking around at other people, I seemed like the only one under 300 lbs. There were done straight up buffalo's in there. The kind of fat where you wonder if they're physically capable of having sex.

It really isn't that cheap. When I went for lunch, or was about $12-13 before tip, and drinking water. You can get a significantly better lunch for that price, with plenty of food to fill you up.

The only buffets that I think are good, and are a good deal, are Indian buffets. And most cities either don't have Indian restaurants, or don't have a good one.
