Cool . We gonna celebrate Mardi Gras on February 25 in New Orleans. We will have a few parades in the meantime.

One of my staff accountants is from Mobile and graduated from Spring Hill. She is constantly talking about how much better the Mobile Mardi Gras is, it's the original, it's the real one, etc.

I hear that Mardi Gras in Mobile is so fun you don't need alcohol to induce you into thinking you're having a good time like in New Orleans.

That's what the Baptists say. Then they take a half of step away from everyone so God doesn't think they are dancing.

head down to the fair city of Mobile for the real Mardi Gras celebration with some friends down there. Looking forward to seeing what the real Mardi Gras is like after doing several of them in New Orleans over the years.

Totally agree, the seafood is the bomb. New Orleans has good shellfish but for real fish Mobile > NOLA.

The people are nicer, less crime.

The tunnels are fun to drive thru.

You're only 45 minutes away from antiquing in Daphne.

But Mardi Gras kinda sucks there too.

Still bummed out about Bama not going to the ship I see.

By the way, that was in NOLA too. It was a blast.

Ah yes. Nothing says "fun" like knocking back a few waters or maybe even some diet soda!

I am embarrassed every time one of the clowns at the Chamber of Commerce tries to sell this bullshite. Mobile couldn't find it's own identity if it was stapled to its arse.

You shouldn't imply from that that I will not be consuming some alcoholic beverages. I've just been told they're not needed due to how fun the real Mardi Gras in Mobile is.

I'm looking forward to not having to navigate around a bunch of ladders in the neutral areas.
