We're loading up the family truckster at lunch tomorrow to head down to the fair city of Mobile for the real Mardi Gras celebration with some friends down there. Looking forward to seeing what the real Mardi Gras is like after doing several of them in New Orleans over the years.

Any Mobile vets have some tips? Friend's office is on the parade route so we're good with parking and bathrooms.

Mobile is honestly superior to New Orleans in most things. Better seafood, more authentic Mardi Gras, etc. Even the Saints fans in Mobile are more tolerable.

Keep you alcohol at home. Those baptists don't need a contact high from your go cup.

I hear that Mardi Gras in Mobile is so fun you don't need alcohol to induce you into thinking you're having a good time like in New Orleans.
