Screw staying at home like some prisoner.

Yes, staying at home with my copious amounts of wine, bourbon, and snacks...along with the ability to have Favor deliver just about any meal I want...along with the possibility of having sex that does not involve a cell mate and my arse bleeding...along with my 70" tv and reclining chairs...

Yes, just like a prisoner.

That said...went out for dinner last night.

frick you, coronavirus.

I had already planned on laying low this weekend so didn’t have any plans except to go hiking tomorrow.

Things are pretty intense for my department at work (infection control). It’s an all hands on deck situation since our hospital is depending on us for guidance through all this. The other 2 infection control nurses would be pissed if I was careless and got sick right now.

GF has similar job at a clinic. They will start checking everyone’s temps entering into the building starting Monday. Also told if they start showing signs or test positive they will be expected to work in full hazmat gear unless physically unable to

Our hospital will be enforcing a bunch of changes this week as well (starts Tuesday). Having people stationed at every entrance to screen visitors (scanning forehead and not allowed to enter if you have a temp or respiratory symptoms) Limiting visitors to see patients to 1 for adult patients and 2 for pediatric patients. No visitors under 16 allowed to enter unless extenuating circumstances (ex: relative dying). Separate entrance for only staff to enter and exit out if. Screening staff everyday, etc, etc.

No thanks. I got a big green egg, tons of dead animal meat that I killed over the fall, and plenty of liquor. Like players from teams with bad fans say, we all we got, we all we need!
