Going out to eat with people who don’t go out often

It’s miserable.

This usually happens with people who are elderly or rural and eat at a restaurant once every few months, if that.

There is a certain flow and routine with eating at a restaurant. There are unspoken rules and shite you just put up with because it’s how it works.

For example, your server brings the drinks and asks if you have any questions or know what you want for an appetizer. Most people say “I’m still looking.” Those who never eat out say “uh yeah we definitely need more time we just got here.”

Or you ask for light sauce or some shite. You are leaving that to the judgement of the kitchen. If they send out something with a lighter portion of sauce that usual but not enough to your liking, don’t bitch and moan and send it back. You should’ve gotten it on the side and made the decision yourself.

Or being pissed because parties of two are being seated before your party of six.

This shite pisses me off. It’s so hard to suck it up and go eat with people like this.
