We had three or four my age, which ended up being a benefit because I met a guy that got me started in my current industry. Heck, grad school could be a networking opportunity for you.
The rest were straight from undergrad.

Maybe if you had that “piece of paper” you’d have confidence and expertise

I remember Mike Foster going to law school after his term for governor was up. Its never too later to accomplish something.

How much older? Are the regular coeds interested in men that age who go to school? Just wondering.

Yes. I went back at 32 years old. Had money in my pocket and a nice place down the street from USL. I went through pussy like Sherman through Georgia.

Anyone done it? How did it work out?
I did the exact opposite of everything I did the first time. I sat as close to front as I possibly could and if I didn’t understand something I asked questions I went to every study session I could whether I needed or not. I finished well in the top half of the class, not that it meant anything to anyone but me.

I graduated at 34. I have a much better job now than I did.

Got my undergraduate degree at 40. Did it for my kids as an example. Worked out great.

Went back at 42 and got an associate's in paralegal studies. Planned to get out of sales and do that instead.
I never ended up working in the legal field, but the stuff I learned has helped me immensely in contract negotiations. Plus, I got to work on a death penalty appeal, which was very interesting work.

There is not an 18-year-old in the country with more motivation than a 30-year-old who has been in the workplace.

I went back to school in my mid forties. I've gotten an Associates, a Bachelors, and a Masters. I'll be done with a Doctorate here in a few months
Why? Sounds expensive.

You'll get to eyeball some sweet arse that you'll never ever ever get a chance to hit.
You'll probably do well in school but it will not feel like college, unless you look 10 years younger than you do and make 100X more than you make.

Because I wanted to, that's why, and I had G.I. Bill benefits to use.

I am 52 years old and about to start my second year of law school. I do have a hard time connecting with my classmates as I am old enough to be most of their fathers.

Nothing wrong with going back to college at 46. You'll actually have more direction, drive, and determination than most typical students in their teens and twenties. Not to mention, you probably won't feel intimidated by any of the professors and will simply be seeking to learn the material in order to usefully apply it in your chosen profession.
