Today is going to be a beautiful day.


I have the finest son that any man could ever ask for.

He is such a blessing to me.

Tonight I think I’m going to get “ crying about being hard on your son “ drunk.

I’m kind of rough and have raised him kind of rough. And he is always there for me. I hope I can show him how much I love him before I die.

Tree cutting today. And scraping the yard with the front end loader. Possibly cut the grass. Haven’t cut it since last Sunday morning.

Then I’m going to clean my old mechanic buddy’s shop up for him.He is still in Texas. He’s about 80 years old and I’m scared the old motherfricker is going to die if he sees his tools and stuff like they are.

Yesterday a fine gentleman came down and cooked the best chicken and sausage pasta laya that I have ever eaten. Two heaping plates. I was driving home after picking up a case of MRE’s when he flagged me down and asked if I was hungry. Was I. Hadn’t eaten a thing the day before.

Then some men from the Army flagged me down and gave me some refrigerator art that school kids had drawn plus an ice chest with fruit,water,drinks and a six pack of beer.


Plus all of the kids had added well wishes and inspirational messages with their names. One of the art pieces said “ Sometimes it’s OK to not be OK “ That’s when I just couldn’t hold the tears any more and I cried like a baby.

Went home ,checked my gen sets and then flopped on the bed in a daze.







Long post..Forgive me.I’m drunk. Time for coffee,shower,shave and get to work when the sun comes up.



Joke of the Day.




A woman wearing a dirty basketball jersey walks into a bar. She lifts her arm, showing everyone her hairy armpit.

"Would any of you men like to buy me a beer?" she asks.

One man, who has drunk at least fourteen beers already, says, "I'd like to buy the ballerina a beer!"

The bartender says, "Look, sir, I have met many women over the years. Some were more tomboyish than girly, others more girly than tomboyish, but none as tomboyish as this woman. For example, she is wearing a basketball jersey.

Would a girly girl play basketball?"

"No," says the drunk.

"Her jersey was all dirty," adds the bartender. "Would a girly girl wear such dirty clothes?"

"No," says the drunk. "She also had hairy armpits," says the bartender. "Would a girly girl have hairy armpits.

"No” says the drunk. "She also asked for a beer," says the bartender.

. Would a girly girl drink beer?"

"No," says the drunk.
"See what I mean?" says the bartender. "This woman is a tomboyus maximus.

And would a tomboy do ballet?"

"No," says the drunk. "So do you still think she's a ballerina?" asks the bartender.

"Yes," replies the drunk. "What makes you think that?" asks the bartender.

And the drunk answers, "Who else could lift her leg up that high?"
