Morning all.
It’s senior week for my youngest

The new cab driver
A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question.
The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped inches from a shop window.
For a second, everything was quiet in the cab. Then the driver said, "Look, mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the living daylights out of me!"
The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much."
The driver replied, "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a cab driver — I've been driving a funeral van for the last 25 years."

Good morning all. I owned and operated an independant taxi cab in BR for many (pre Uber) years. The joke made me smile. Ah the stories I could tell!!

Morning all. About to leave for SC, delivering to a God awful grocery warehouse for a 5p appt. I'm willing to bet they take 6+ hours to unload the trailer and try kicking me off their property when my clock expires.

Don't forget to tip the lumpers and they'll have those 14 pallets unloaded in 12 minutes
But god forbid you have a couple restacks that will set you back about 4-5 hours

Unload starts: 2115
Paperwork in hand and told to leave: 2330
This is my guess how it's going to go. Grocery warehouses are such shitholes. Add into the mix there's no truck stops or truck parking within 30 miles AND they don't allow overnight parking. Know how you see the semis parked on Interstate ramps? I'm likely going to be one of those tonight.
