1522 — The first circumnavigation of Earth was completed. The Victoria, the sole surviving ship of Ferdinand Magellan's expedition, returned to Spain after nearly three years at sea.
1620 — The Mayflower began its famous voyage. The Pilgrims departed Plymouth, England, bound for North America.
1781 — Benedict Arnold burned an American town. After defecting to Britain, Arnold led British forces against New London, Connecticut, ordering much of the town burned. It happened only about six weeks before Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown.
1901 — President William McKinley was shot.
1916 — The modern grocery store was basically born. The first Piggly Wiggly opened in Memphis. Its revolutionary idea seems completely ordinary now: customers walked around the store and selected their own groceries. Before that, shoppers generally gave their orders to clerks, who retrieved everything for them.
Marquis de Lafayette — 1757. The French aristocrat became a major general in the Continental Army while still in his early 20s and became one of George Washington's close associates.
Jane Addams — 1860. Social reformer, co-founder of Hull House and eventual Nobel Peace Prize winner.
Roger Waters — 1943 — turns 83 today. Co-founder, bassist and major songwriter of Pink Floyd.
Jeff Foxworthy — 1958 — turns 68.
Idris Elba — 1972 — turns 54.
Hour 22 of game day.
Good morning all!

Good morning, folks.
It is always said that football is won in the trenches. Our baws in the trenches have got some dawg in 'em.

LSU looked great. Crowd was great.
I still think Kiffin is an insufferable prick.

Just a typical opening season for a Auburn Tiger fan. At least this time, we were on the correct side of the ending, no matter how painful it was getting there.
I have been a Auburn Tiger fan since I was 13 years old. That would be 1979 for you old people who know how long ago that is.
I have seen some shite bro

Explain
I mean if you are coming from the viewpoint of having someone completely different than that clown we had last year I agree
Now that you open my eyes to this I actually dislike Kiffin but like him far more than shite for brains and he’s actually nice.

That confidence you feel after squeaking out the W against a 5-7 team.
ETA: Your October is a trip through murderer's row. Good luck.

That confidence is earned my friend.
And as far as October goes, it is just a typical October for us. Lol
This is a 6-7 win team. I don’t have many thoughts beyond that. I have hopes, but like I said, I have seen some shite.

There’s nothing to explain. Lane Kiffin is not a fake. Dude is what he is and he is not ashamed of it.
He’s a smart arse and a jokester and a very good football coach. And he is being 100% himself.
And in today’s world where everything and everybody is fake as shite, I respect that.
