Well F.

I've got a 2024 Yukon XL with the 6.2L. Paid more to avoid the lifter issues the 5.3L is known for.

Also it sounds better.

Knock on wood I have not had any issues yet so I am consider myself lucky. Hopefully these parts come in soon, but the real question is how are they going to manage the recalls? It’s not a one hour software update, as it’s more of a multi day job. You can’t possibly be able to service all of those vehicles.

There are videos all over the internet about the rods and the engine making horrible noises.

How do you eff up one of the most powerful, reliable, fuel-efficient engines ever?

Bring back the 5.7. My farm truck is a '98 z71 and it is still running great. Has a few dents and the seats need new covers but the powertrain run fine.

350's are strong as acid, so of course, stop building them.

Diesel 6.0, and 6.4? was trash.

I'm on my 3rd 6.7, no issues.

Of course, now I'm doomed.

We got the 2025 Tahoe back in Feb. Drives like a dream. We'll see how long it holds up...

they should be sued to hell for the all models since 2014 for the AFM

I mean, you must realize they’re doing this to meet government regulations right? You can get a turbo V6 or you can get a V8 with goofy unreliable technology. Pick one.

So is GM even offering the 6.2 in many trim levels now? When I was in the market a few years ago I wrote off GM bc I didn’t want the 5.3 and that’s what almost all the trucks had, except for the High Country which I also didn’t want.

The new Tundra engines are dogshit too.

Nissan is quitting on trucks.

I guess the government doesn't want anybody driving full size trucks any more.

Came so close to buying a 6.2 lt sierra denali last December in Opelousas. They wouldn't take $700 under listed price.

I bought the same truck with a 5.3 a week later in Slidell. Lucky me.
