Global warming is about to cause global cooling: Antarctic ice could cause another ice age

Earth is facing another ICE AGE: Scientists claim an increase in sea ice could block the release of carbon dioxide from the ocean and cause a global COOLING
Scientists studying Antarctica sea ice warn a rise in accumulation could spark the next ice age.
Computer simulations show that an explosion in ice circling the frozen desert would act as a lid on the ocean and block it from exchanging carbon dioxide with the atmosphere.
This is capable of causing a reverse greenhouse effect, which would ultimately cool the earth and send our planet into an ice age for the first time in over two million years.

I didn't know 600 years = 2 million years, but ok.
I wonder if this ice age is different from the ice age predicted in the 1970's?

This isn't really a gotcha statistic. Every climate scientist has been saying that antarctic ice has been increasing, the problem is that ice in Greenland is melting faster than Antarctic ice is amassing, by a lot.
Which is kind of what you would expect considering most of the additional carbon in the atmosphere is produced in the northern hemisphere.
But yeah, frick green energy!!!
