Smith lowdown

Get chroma pop lenses. They are legit. Makes greens, reds pop a little more.

I have Oliver peoples, maui Jims and persols. My persol wayfarers are the best lens of all but I wear my Oliver peoples most because they're comfortable.

If you wanna be cool, forget designer and get yourself a pair of Randolph Engineering sunglasses.

I don't think that is the style you are going for though.

Breakline is a new company with a solid product. I was surprised. I bought a pair on a whim and I like them. Free lifetime replacement on damages too.

Smith's have polarized wayfarer style glasses. Their products are made for hikers, kayakers, and the like and have ridiculous grip. You can find them at backpacker/Massey type stores if you want to check them out.

Luxottica's two main product offerings are sunglasses and prescription frames.

Sat next to a couple of their marketing folks on a flight a while back. Talked about their product brands the whole flight. I didn't know they made all those brands.
