It's crazy that a lot of people don't see a wedding ring as a deterrent. Some probably see it as a challenge / as a game.

True but after a while the girlfriend will put never ending pressure on you for that ring. I was lucky with mine. We were best friends before for years but both of our friend groups always asked when we would stop the bullshite and just be together. Best thing I ever did. I have several friends that it didn’t work out and they got divorced where their wives took them to the cleaners.

In general, most women are spoiled brats.
