9 out of 10 times I agree. Tying one on for a late nighter is always a good time occasionally now. Getting old and shite

Like I said above, this is a serious question, not casting judgement. I've wondered this about some people, so I'll ask you.
How do you not feel rundown every day? Is it a getting older thing where you need less sleep? Also, you drink bourbon frequently. When I drink, like I did last night, the next morning I always feel a little bit sluggish, even if it's a single pour.
Also, what is happening between the hours of 9 to midnight that is so captivating for people? There are a few people in my old workplace who went to sleep between 8-10 PM, but most of the crew I worked with was routinely up until 11p-1a.
Damn dude why do you care so much. Did 9 pm - 12 am frick your wife?

I’m up early whether I like it or not. The wife, she in bed at 8, up at 7 on work days. Weekends, lucky if she’s up by noon

Yeah how asinine of me to be curious about something I don't experience.

I’m up between 4-5 most days. Love getting up, making breakfast, and getting a few things done before work begins.
When I was in high school/college I’d open my dad’s store at 3:30-400 on Saturdays so the people fishing tournaments (or just going fishing) had a place to get tackle, gas, snacks. He’s come in at 7 and I’d go to my normal job at 8. You don’t need a curfew when you have to wake up at 3-3:30 the next morning.

And if I were your neighbor I’d kick your arse the second time you brought it up. It’s still daylight and some hardworking people don’t get home till 6:30/7:00

I haven't used an alarm clock in 15 years+. Since I crossed my 30s. I wake with the sun no matter when I go to bed or after 7 hours whichever comes first. I feel 100xs better with at least 7 hours of sleep. And I started going to sleep much easier once I started turning the TV off in the bedroom.

Maybe one day I'll be a morning person but as of now I am just not that person.
Sleep by 12-12:30, every weekday, wake up at 7, don't have to be at work until 8:30.

That's my life. Hardly ever get to sleep before midnight, wake up a couple times a night to piss and am usually up by first light.

After my wife and daughter go to sleep, I can actually have time to myself. I can watch TV shows that I want, take care of projects that I can’t do while they are awake, etc
I would agree if I could sleep late but since I've had kids its just not possible. The quiet early mornings on weekends is now me time.

Good. I won't even fight back. You'll go to jail for assault, I'll press charges, and I'll be free from hearing your mower.
This sounds great. But I doubt you would assault someone who came over to ask you if you wouldn't mind quieting down at 8.

Not gonna lie, if you're my neighbor and you're outside mowing at 8 PM, you're going to have to deal with me every single time.
Well, now we know who the "Karen" of this thread is.

People who wake up early always brag about waking up early. Why?

12 hours? frick that. I'm a night owl, I'm up until 2am most nights and wake up at 7:30.
More than 6 hours of sleep screws me up.

Why not go to sleep a couple hours earlier?

Some people only need 7. Most people need more.

I mostly go to sleep between 12 am to 12:30 am, everyday. On a workday, I wake up at 7. On the weekend I usually wake up between 8-9:30.
It is very rare (or never for a lack of better word) to wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning. There's nothing to do at that time and I rather spend it sleeping.
