When I went to the grocery store yesterday they had some folks lined up for the hand sanitizer bottle and I noticed the gal assigned to spraying down/wiping carts.
I held my hands out low, palms up, towards her. She sprayed them down with the stuff she was using on the carts and away I went.

I feel so sorry for you.
You are ambling around stores during a pandemic to pass the time, complaining to yourself about the way helpers use hand sanitizer and wipe down carts, then going home to write about it, even if this is fiction. You suck in a uniquely uninteresting way. It is all so pathetic, but at least you have somewhere to go.
