If there is some chore that your wife wants you to do and you don't, suck it up and do it without complaining.
But fricked it up so bad that she will never ask you to do it again. Although I semi-regularly offer, I haven't done laundry or dishes in 15 years.

Don't do anything that you would not let her do. and neither of you do anything that if you had a child, would let the child do. Keep it clean.

Don’t sweat the small stuff.

Good whiskey is crucial.

Golf or other weekend events that take 5+ hours that don’t actually take that long.

And rule #1: Saturday is for the boys.

Always consult her on big decisions. Their intuition is no joke. On small decisions let her make them. Do what she wants. If you are man enough to do this, and you have a good one you will be fine. Domestic bliss is the best thing on earth. Congratulations.

Today is my 11th wedding anniversary. Advice? Take care of your bride and treat her how you treat her today, tomorrow and so on. Marriage will never be perfect, both of you must understand that. Best of luck and congratulations.

You both have to be willing to communicate. That often means listening more than talking. It also means being honest with yourself.

Think ahead. If one of you is contemplating doing something you know may hurt or piss off the other, ask yourself if it's really worth it.

Tell each other *I love you". Often.

Be affectionate to each other (little pecks on the cheek, light scratch on the back, rub on the arm, etc).

Reminisce often on the fun things you've done together.
