Best $381 I've ever spent.
Mine was done in about 10 minutes, didn't even feel the pinch everyone says. Totally painless, just some tugging.
Wear tidy whities for a few days and have a ice pack ready. Have a good show to binge. The first "release" is scary as frick though

I had a vasectomy after finished fathering kids at a young age. They cover you, except for your sac, shoot in a pain killer, make a small incision (about 1/2") in each testi, go in, cut and cauterize the vas tube and sew you up with dissolving sutures. I felt some pulling and minimal discomfort on one side, but no pain. Had it done on a Friday morning and went back to work Monday. Testicles were full and tight for 3-4 days, but not "swollen" beyond the "Fullness." Did not use the pain pills, but took Tylenol a few times. They shaved my testes before the surgery and washed the area to avoid contamination/infection. Then had to submit two semen samples in the weeks following surgery and there was no sperm present. Nurses will tend to you throughout procedure. I've had about 15 surgeries and this was the easiest.

Everyone talks about how smooth theirs was but I must’ve had a bad experience because I needed four shots to the sack before the numbing medicine helped. I felt all the tugging (which did still hurt after all the numbing shots) and almost threw up from it
I didn't get extra shots, but it was definitely uncomfortable for me when he was trying to work the vas up the surface...apparently to the point I started turning pale. Recovery was fine. Just a little tender for a week or two.

Sore balls for a day or two and carefree sex after that.
This was my experience, although it was kind of weird watching the Urologist inject the deadener in my sack, make a small slit on each side, pull out the tube and snip it.

Did mine in 1994. Copay was 10 bucks. Best 10 I ever spent. Nothing to it. I’ve had shoes hurt worse than that. Congrats on being an upstanding partner and doing your part. Women already have to carry and deliver kids. No need for them to jeopardize their health with birth control pills. Too bad so many pussy men in here. Guess you knew that coming here for advice.

Didn’t get the Valium, only 800mg of Ibuprofen
Sounds like a military hospital did the procedure.

Why anyone would willingly volunteer to chop their nuts up with a knife is beyond my ability to grasp.
Good luck with Your balls never feeling empty and your orgasms never feeling the same.

Had it done a long time ago on a Friday. I rested all weekend and didn’t have a single issue. I used the leftover painkillers recreationally and I see why we have an issue with them these days. They’re fun.

It’s in January. What can I expect.
You can expect your insurance copay to have reset at the start of the year, costing you a lot of cash.

When the doc says put frozen peas on your balls, he doesn't mean a bag of Jolly Green Giant.

It is just like disconnecting a water hose. First you shut off the fluids from the source. That is the surgery. After that, you want to move the water hose. The tricky part is getting all of the fluid (swimmers) out of the hose before you use it again. Work it out by hand with at least 10 visits to your friends at Pornhub.com. Then go back to the doctor, leave them a fresh shot to be tested and carry on.

the hardest part is getting used to not having any balls...just a penis with no balls...

The worst part is the shot they give you to kill the pain.
Right in your sack

easy. best part was the young hot nurse shaving my nutsack. No pain whatsoever. Watched NCAA tourney for three days while the wife waited on me.

Anesthesia shot was not fun. Other than that it was not a big deal. Frozen bags of peas are your friend.

The smoke made me a little nervous, but having to do the after-surgery jerk-off in a cup was definitely weird.

You don’t want to hear my story, I was first one to get one, I did everything they said but had a “complication”
