People don't get a Peleton to lose weight, they get it because they love cycling and they are nice to have when the weather is shite.
No they don’t. It’s bought as a status symbol. That’s why you never see one in a garage or in a shite house in the commercials. It’s always in a multimillion dollar modern mansion

i think they are a major sponsor on the ESPN+ platform, every commercial break i get a chick with a banging body and sweat glistening in a sports bra and yoga pants. its the only commercials i dont really turn away from.

How did a company even rebrand the treadmill and exercise bike and manage to fool everybody?
Oh look, It's a Peloton! It's so nice. Bitch, that's a treadmill with youtube.

I know right? When my wife told me she wanted a peloton I found 20+ bikes plus a new iPad combined that was cheaper. And because I am a man and run my house we compromised and got a peloton.

And the chick looks the exact same as she did when she got the Peloton.
Imagine if he hadn’t gotten her the bike, she’d weigh 29736272 lbs.

Y’all sure are obsessed with Peloton
Let’s see how many more threads will be started complaining about them.
I’m going with at least 5-7 before Christmas

Untrue. I know cyclists and not one of them owns this. They own multiple bikes and smart trainers. They aren't "spin class" people. They would rather cycle in cold than ride a Peloton.
Pelotons are marketing rich, vain, and "get in shape quickly" milfs or combos of all 3. Cyclists and spin class lovers are not the same animal.

I don’t get the obsession. It’s just another crazy and frivolous fad.

Get from here nurse. Sir, we will start as many threads as we need to.
Posted on 11/25/19 at 3:34 pm to lsunurse

No a real fad is the god damned workout mirror
Posted on 11/25/19 at 3:35 pm to lsunurse
Is it ok to get it for the wife if that's what she asks for?

Get used to the Peloton holiday commercial
It will compete with the Chevy "I Love it" chick.
To hell with that. I skip right over both of them.

You realize there are professional cyclists (that still currently compete) that teach several classes on there?
One of the regular instructors does triathlons and teaches lots of techniques in his classes to improve pedal strokes out on a real bike.
Another instructor professionally races in cycling and also has rides aimed at those training for cycling races.
My husband mountain bikes and got a Peloton Aug 2018 to train for his rides (and because he knows I also love spin classes and would also use the bike on a regular basis). He has mostly done PowerZone training classes on the bike and has seen improvements on his rides on the trail.

That’s an expensive present.
You can finance them though. 0% for I think 2-3 years.
