What happened to the day when you made a mistake, took ownership, apologized and people accepted and forgave?
Oh that’s right, social media and the itch to garner attention and ruin lives.

What the guy did was wrong, but seriously sexual assault? Anyone who agrees with this being the punishment, possible jail time and being a sex offender for the rest of his life is a fricking tool bag.
He doesn’t need anymore to learn the lesson. I’m sure the negative attention, the embarrassment for him and his family is plenty.

Time to forgive and move on for the broad, it wasn’t the end of the world. He touch a part of you that you place on a toilet and shite out of, over your clothes as a “good game pad”

Why do you think he chose to spank her arse?

Cause like me he’s an arse man.

So because you like arse, you think that gives you the right to just go up to random strangers and touch their arse?

Some guys, like dick. I’m not judging you BTW

So if a random gay guy walked up to you and grabbed your crotch to see what you were working with, you'd be perfectly okay with that bc he likes dick and you know that was his motivation to grab yours?

Would you be okay with someone slapping your wife or daughter’s arse? No big deal, right?

If the reporter were my daughter or wife, no I wouldn't be ok with him slapping her arse!
Neither would I make a big deal about it...
It was distasteful and poor judgement. The guy apologized.
If that's the most disrespect she has to endure in life, she will be lucky.

Nope. What if he would have tapped the top of her head because he likes head?

Would that be sexual battery?

No. Because a person's head is not considered an "intimate part" under Georgia law. It really is not very complicated. Did you not read the statute? You can disagree with it, but do you really not understand why it is considered sexual battery under the law?

Not defending his behavior.

Also not thinking his behavior should frick up the rest of his life.

08 picked this hill to die on.

He already admitted it was assault and admitted it was sexually driven.

He just has committed too much to say it is sexual assault.

So referencing my last post about people not understanding the charge...

From what I gather - sexual battery, not sexual assault - is a misdemeanor and falls in a category that in Georgia carries maximum $5k fine, up to a year in jail, and has no reference of registering as an offender (can’t say definitively he is clear there but looked at a few sites and none mention it as even a possibility).

If he ends up with a fine that covers court costs and processing, ends up having to do some community service, and has a first offense on his record in case of continued offenses - but no jail time and no registration- are you upset about the charge?

playing grab arse in the locker room showers was a long time sports tradition

is it now to be considered sexual assault

with transgendered and binary folks allowed to choose the facility they identify with, would liberal school districts have a higher rate of sex assault

What’s more unbelievable is that some of you feel like what he did was okay. Let this have happened to your wife, daughter, sister, etc and then see how you feel.

What you are referring to here is called intent. This is not a specific intent crime. It is a general intent crime.

It does not have to be "sexually driven" to be considered sexual battery under the law.
