Legally it is.

Other than that I guess it is opinion and up to the person getting assaulted.

Other than the tweet I haven’t really followed her reaction. Something I missed? You seem a bit triggered by it, eh?

Game Day was just talking about a woman running on the field after a game and kissing the coach.

Should she be charged with sexual battery?

Would that ease your vaginal hemorrhaging?

I’d imagine there’s a range of punishments for this

I’m not saying he should have done it. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be charged with battery.

But I disagree with the sexual battery part of it.

And I’m saying it’s not the same as if he would have grabbed or punched her pussy like Public Private is saying.

Only right wing conservative males (aka whites) have no respect for anybody or personal space but their own.

Seems you are way more escalated than me with this.

And based on the law in Georgia, no it doesn’t seem that would be the correct charge but if he wanted to pursue a charge- I’m fine.

Some guy runs up and starts kissing you, I imagine you might be upset about it given your anger here.

So he could have touched her shoulder if he was being playful, right?

He could have punched her in the head if he wanted to violently assault her, right?

Why do you think he chose to spank her arse?

Cause like me he’s an arse man.

Some guys like tits

Some guys like feet

Some guys like arse

Some guys, like dick. I’m not judging you BTW

I think most agree that what he did was dumb particularly nowadays. However to think that he was being sexual is overboard. Also the think that the reporter ruining the guys life over it is extremely dumb. Ultimately he made a dumb decision and has to deal with the ridiculous consequences from that. However it’s clear she is using this opportunity to try to capitalize and move up from a small time on site reporter

Nope. What if he would have tapped the top of her head because he likes head?

Would that be sexual battery?

I would imagine the guy pleads this way down and gets some sort of probation

No, I think he committed that crime.

How did he not?

You honestly believe he committed sexual battery? Can you say that with a straight face?

In past conversations I found a few real consistent issues-

1) people hear sexual battery and think it’s a charge akin to rape. They don’t realize it’s defined as touching the butt, groin, inner thigh or breast without consent. It’s very much written for a situation like this.

2) they have no idea the consequences of the crime and think it’s a felony. It’s a misdemeanor and I’d be shocked if he gets anywhere near a max punishment here.

3) because it was semi acceptable not that long ago lots of guys have done it before and don’t want to say “yea that probably wasn’t great of me to have done to someone... even if I didn’t mean for it to be a bad thing - I was wrong”
