I would check it out if it was LaVar Burton even though he wouldn't be my top choice.

I too would prefer Brad Rutter. Or Buzzy. Or Austin. I like Ken Jennings but I think he would suck as host. I think he sucks when they have him as a guest clue-reader.

He gets paid ludicrous money to be a terrible news anchor. Why would he leave that post to replace a guy nobody can replace?

LeVar Burton would be a good pick if he weren't already 63 years old.
Jennings... eh, he doesn't really have the voice for it. 90% of Trebek's job occurs completely offscreen. Gotta have a good voice. And unlike Trebek, Jennings is not exactly quiet with his politics. That shouldn't be ignored.
Brad Rutter would be a better pick if they're gonna hire from "within" the J! family.

I would expect Steve Harvey to already be in talks for replacing Alex. George doesn't meet their diversity. requirement.

He fumbles reading stuff way too much I think for Jeopardy. Its fine on Family Fued which is more of a comedy than a serious show but messing up lines on Jeopardy is kind of bad.
Wouldn't be shocked if he temporarily hosts it though cause that's what he do.

Why is he trying to take this job away from a person of color? It is only fair that a black woman gets a turn. White men had theirs. Even as a little person, George Papageorgio should be able to put his own insatiable thirst for more riches to pile upon his huge pile and support a deserving African American or Somali. Don't black lives matter anymore?

Jennings or Hurtholz would be the most popular. But I’d bet all my winnings on a 1-black woman 2-black man 3-white woman 4-gay boy 5-Asian.
