A traffic stop in Port St. Lucie ended with a man being arrested for having "baking ingredients" in his car.

Jethro Geneus, 30, was in a car pulled over around 3 a.m. on SE Port St. Lucie Boulevard.

The officer noticed Geneus, a passenger in the car, moving something around by his feet.

When police discovered Geneus had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, he was taken out of the car and officers noticed a backpack on the front floorboard of the car.

Inside the backpack were a scale and two large bags of a white and brown substance.

Geneus said the items were "sugar and a bag of corn starch to bake a cake," according to police.

Police said both substances tested positive for ecstasy or molly and had a combined weight of 299.5 grams.

While at the jail, Geneus dropped a clear bag with a white powdered substance, that tested positive for meth.

Geneus was charged with trafficking phenethylamines.

Yeah, it's better than admitting to having drugs and not having any chance come trial(even though those drugs shouldn't be illegal, but that's for another thread).

Clearly, otherwise he would've locked his car doors as he got out.

They would need a warrant to search his car.
