Cultural appropriation of proud native Americans. Time to take the statues down.

It's ironic how some people especially those on the left lionize Sherman when he completely brutalized Indians in the Indian War using the same tactics he used against the South.

If an American general today committed the war crimes Sherman committed, people would shite and would have him court martialed and thrown under Leavenworth so fast their eyes wouldn't have time to blink.

It's easy for people like you to blow Sherman when he's six feet under and what he did happened safely so long ago in a time where our great grandparents weren't even alive.

It's quite another to face the prospects of a modern General pulling the same barbaric shite Sherman did and a decision of whether or not lionize him as a hero.

Ok.

This opinion just means you're not a hypocrite.

That's not the case with the left and a lot on the right that would never tolerate a modern day William Sherman.

When it comes to Sherman, people try to have it both ways. They support what he did back then but would never tolerate it in modern times.

Well...there were no Geneva Conventions back then.
