Why would anybody get a Malibu when Camry and Accord are about the same price with much better resale value?
Agreed. Also the stigma, Malibu just sounds trashy, doesnt mean that it is a worse car than an Accord, but thats just the perception.

I didn’t mean trucks or sports car, but there’s a reason they call corvette “the Plastic Fantastic” and GM trucks don’t have the best reliability either.

Is that supposed to be good? Lol

They have been called that since it was made of 100% fiberglass. It's not the insult you think it is.
Fact remains, Corvette was #1 in resale recently and is a GM car.

Frankly, it is.

The amount of cluelessness you display in car threads while thinking you're one of the smart ones is comical.

Corvette has been a great sports car for as long as I can remember. They are trying to move it to a mid engine design and push the Camaro even farther into the sports car territory.
I'm not a huge fan of the Camaro, but there isn't any doubt that they've done excellent work with it. It's turned into a nice package that's an absolute blast to drive.

Thanks stalker. If you think $5K on a 12-13 year old SUV is good, then I can't help you any further.
I sold a 2003 4Runner with 144K miles on it in 2016 for $15K.
Good grief, do you even think before you post?

American cars like the Malibu and Fusion are much more popular in the northern states and in the mid west than they are down south. Perception is a bit different up here I guess.
The Chevrolet Trax, Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, and Subaru Crosstreck are also really popular in the snow belt even among families but is considered too small and cheap on the gulf coast for people over 30. The appeal of a $20,000 all wheel drive vehicle is kind of limited in places where it never really snows.
Most of the OT would rather buy a pickup truck even though they could get by just fine in a mid sized sedan.

Man, you GM owners are so emotional...compare GM reliability & resale to any Honda or Toyota product and the difference is astounding.

No way...The Trax is complete garbage. That has to be one of the worst compact crossovers ya can buy.

It's a pretty good vehicle that's popular in the snow belt. But I think you are the one that has an irrational hatred of anything not Toyota.

I've owned all 3 from my personal experience.
1. Honda
2. toyota
3. GM
