I think the current Impala is a nice ride, especially in LTZ trim.
I agree, It also won Car of The Year

The new Camry and accord interiors are wayyy ahead of the impala. It’s not close if you’ve been in them
We just bought a 2018 Accord. It's very nice and comfortable inside. We usually buy Camry's, but liked the Accord better this time, and got a better deal.
I did have a rental 2018 Malibu earlier this year, nice car. I wouldn't buy one, but it seemed nice. Only had 7 miles on it when I picked it up from National.

The CUE is pure crap
That hasn’t been true in a few years now.

Yeah no doubt that Impala’s exterior look better than new Avalon but if I needed a large car it would be Avalon any day just on reliability alone
Avalon is a good vehicle, but the Impala is far from an unreliable car.

I'm convinced you Louisiana boys either don't know how to negotiate, or just assume you can't. Not sure which it is
It’s easy to negotiate a decent discount on most full sized pickups.
That should have an asterisk. They still aren’t coming down much on the Colorado diesel and it’s been on sale for a while now.
The mid sized market needs more competition to keep Chevy and Toyota honest.

Just came here to say GM can suck a big fat one.

Says the guy that had to settle for an F150 because he couldn't get a deal on a Tundra.

I’m still pissed that they turned the Explorer into a minivan.
Good
Explorer sales killed the Bronco.

Tundra is an also-ran. It will stay that way until Toyota invests in the model while everyone else improves, upgrades, and updates every 5-6 years.
I’ve said this before, but I think Toyota is content being an also-ran. Toyota will sell it’s 115k Tundras per year, make a tidy profit, and be satisfied.
My theory is that when the new Tundra came out in 2007, it was by far the best truck on the market yet still couldn’t seriously crack the market share. Toyota probably decided to not invest a whole lot into it.
I bought a 2016 and I love it. I know it’s not the most cutting edge but it’s everything I want in a truck. I didn’t trust the ecoboost and GM doesn’t like to offer the 6.2L in lower trim levels, so I went Toyota.

Not really, but the 5.7L engine was very nice.

Man, you GM owners are so emotional...compare GM reliability & resale to any Honda or Toyota product and the difference is astounding
They suffer from Golden Age syndrome centered in the 1960's muscle car era. From 1970 - 2010 GM solidified their reputation as shity arse vehicles yet GM owners will come on here and tell you about the Silverado they have that has 300,000 miles on it. What they won't tell you about is all their broken window regulators, cracked dashboards, sloppy steering, rattling suspension, broken air condition vents, fried stereos, broken door latches, leaking seals, Etc
Oh, and all the money they took out of the pockets of the hardworking taxpayers of America to pay for the mismanagement of their executives who then stuffed their pockets

I drove an Impala SS one time. Loved that thing. Super quick with good torque
Was that the Australian built model with an 8 banger?
I think the Pontiac GTO (g8) was the same car. I'd like to have one of those with a straight shift.

I have a 2016 Malibu but it has the body of the new gen. It's not the HO turbo 2.0 version but it does have a turbo but is something like 1.4L.
It's pretty quick and has a huge trunk.
Mine is white.

Got our license and a friend inherited his mother’s mid 70’s Malibu. Decided to wax it and used furniture polish and ruined half of the paint.

I'm sorry but the only acceptable brands of sedans to drive are European. Anything else is trashy AF.
