Never had a problem getting served anywhere. Northgate, Dallas, Houston
That sounds like something you would do in Vegas if your were staying at the same place the entire night

If you pre-tip at my bar your getting front of the line service and stronger drinks or I'm going to forget to put a shot on your tab every once in a while. If someone doesn't tip on say a $10+ order 2 or 3 times you won't get another drink from me.
Not to mention in high volume bars I'll gladly throw in some wingman action if you tip well regularly.

Will you be my bartender?

$1 per bottle of beer or shot, $2 per draft or mixed drink or 20% at the end of the night if you have a tab going

Usually $1 every other drink or so. I only order beer. Doesn't take much to pop a cap or pour a draught.

Gladly. I try and explain these things to my regulars where I work. My boss doesn't keep count on ANY thing. If i know you tip, and your slamming 20$ a shot top shelf whiskey and drink 3, the 4th ones going to be free. I don't have nice tits so I gotta keep up with girls somehow.

Do you watch the tip jar to make sure they drop bills in it?

One bar i go to, the bartenders always "forget" to add in a few drinks on the tab, so i add that amount to the tip
So, you are both thieves?

Many high volume bars don't do liquor counts, but what's yalls cost percentage sitting at?

Honestly they don't share it too much. But our ownership knows what we do to maintain a good crowd. If we push it to far one night they usually just let us know the next day that we pushed it a little too much. They've only taken money out my check once in the couple years I've been there, which given the trade-off I'm totally fine with.

That being said I know that if our management keeps liquor costs under I think 15% of sales then they get a nice bonus. But in my opinion our prices are exorbitant, especially on whiskey. A single 1oz pour of crown is 8$. Most bars charge 10$ for a double.

I get mine strong as frick for 6 bones and Jack for $5. I usually walk out if I can't get a good drink
