I do put my foot down, but some shite is really not that serious. If I have other obligations, then sure I'll go do those other things. But I'm not about to make a big deal out of nothing or argue just for the sake of my pride. It is pointless.

Yeah I don’t get the hate for having a party with friends.
Some of the over the top reveals are kinda gay, but if they want to do it, why is it a problem?

There definitely is a utility in posting the gender of your baby online. Same reason people use to mail announcements.

a former co worker of mine's daughter will be having a "race reveal" party shortly after the birthing.... apparently the odds are even for white, black, hispanic.
