They aren’t being educated on how to save and manage money. At any level. You’re expected to graduate, get a job, stick money in a 401k then hope you have enough to retire on when they get there.

They are being educated, but they’re just not making enough money to actually do those things

I also hate how it killed a lot of people’s genuine interest in sports.
I knew this was going to happen and it sucks. Also you have a lot of not even layman's watching scoreboards to see if they hit and they know don't know much about how the game works. I've always been a sportsfan so I'm holding on but yeah things are different.

Maybe this is why they can’t buy a house?

No. They cannot buy a house with a job. So they are gambling to see if they can get on top.

I won’t go into their education choices and how they (we ) paid for it. But there is no hope of owning a home for generations.

Every person in this survey had a 401k, plus other investment accounts.

Any person that only had a 401k was excluded from the survey.

Meaning the people in this survey are almost assuredly very educated in investing.

The only thing I’ve ever seriously gambled on is my ability with a set of golf clubs. I will gamble on occasion on blackjack or craps (and did so on my recent cruise), but if I can’t directly influence the outcome, I’m not interested in risking money on it.

It’s a chart showing a 22 year old who maxes out a Roth IRA from the ages of 22-30 can stop investing and if the rate of return matches the S&P just that investment will be $3,000,000 by the time they retire at 67.

That'll just about cover rent and groceries by then.
