Are there residency restrictions in other Louisiana jurisdictions?

WTF does this have anything to do with Alton Sterling?
Sweet Jesus...
Whitey took their grocery stores so it's ok to not like the police.

Why would facts matter? These people never deal in facts. Facts don't get you votes in that community. Facts don't make you rich by being a public servant in a poor precinct. Emotion is all that matters. Oh and black lives.

This post will be construed as racist, but this entire debate is literally black emotion and utopian ideals vs. white facts and common sense.

Residency requirements are retarded in cities of this size and it's location along a river where 90% of WBR is close to downtown BR than the rest of EBR.

The Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination for a variety of factors (race, gender, religion etc)...these idiots now what to discriminate based on where you live.
What if business owners made a decision not to hire anyone that lived north of Airline?

Will all state workers be required to live in the city as well?

Because they think the reason he is dead is because the cops just didn't know him and what a kind and wonderful soul he was since they don't live in the area. To them it's irrelevant that he's had a violent past and that when a cop confronted him in front of the same store in 2009 for the same reason (threatening someone with a firearm) he tried to pull his firearm on that cop.
He was a black man killed by a white cop therefore the problem that needs to be fixed MUST BE within the police department because Mr. Sterling has now been deified.

This is disguised racial discrimination, nothing more.

I do not understand "community" policing.
If I live off Jefferson & go worship at Parkview & shop on Siegen then I can only police in my area?
Cause that is a totally different community & culture than NBR.
