ADAs Seth Shute and Shannon Swaim, who prosecuted Ronald Gasser, have entered the courtroom. I would expect the jury to be brought into the courtroom within minutes.

That was always by far the most likely result going off what the public knew.

Same as Hayes

For me, if you followed my posting in both, I honestly think Gasser is the bigger POS and deserved more time

I think he wanted trouble here

I really think the Hayes and Smith encounter was all one huge mess

If Gasser gets sentenced to 25 years, yes. Hayes also got 15 years for shooting Racquel Smith. Not sure if the sentences were to be served consecutively or concurrently.

Yea, I honestly felt murder 2 was the right call here, but I wasn’t in the courtroom.

BlackTwitter has gone silent

I was following it today. They were positive Gasser would be acquitted once they saw the white jury....

Yeah, any explanation for that?

IANAL, but it might be due to his defense being an affirmative defense (I did it but...)

Whereas if his defense was "You got the wrong guy" it would be prejudicial and therefore inadmissible.
