do want a rewards numbers?
do you want a car wash?
do you want to save a fraction of a cent per gallon?
do you want to donate $1 to the asian albino midget clown porn association?

etc.
etc.

I don't think it makes sense on pump speed. If I find myself at an unreasonably slow pump, I'm not more likely to walk inside; I'm more likely to say "frick this, half a tank is fine" and leave.

Yeah. Granted I don't struggle with controlling myself re: food/drink, but I can't imagine deciding to go into a business I had zero prior plan of going into just because the gas is flowing slower.

Yea but youre talking about gas station owners on one hand and the retarded half of their customer base on the other, so logic probably isn't applicable here.

I agree. The ones in Central have been really slow the past 6 months.

One theory is that gas stations are doing this to keep you on the property longer because of the chance you will walk in the store and purchase the highly profitable drink, jerky, or junk.

But don't they know how trashy this is?

What car with a gasoline engine can’t use ethanol free gas?

That's why you wait 5 seconds before you start pumping.

I don't know about all that but I was convinced that the pumps stopped way too early and slowed down to a snail's pace with the hope of you just saying f it and drive off when we prepaid

Telling me to go see the cashier for a receipt after I filled up pisses me off. Not only do you have to wait in line for it now but you have to fight through panhandlers on the way in and out.

If slower wouldn’t that lose customers when all pumps are full. I haven’t seen this issue.
