With that kind of money, I'd actually become a Johnny Appleseed type guy and go around to some of the places I have lived over the years and give out money. My HS would get some money provided the school could use it as I want. LSU would get a nice chunk, the Rec. Departments in a few of the places I've lived, certainly my church...I'd have fun with it.

To the OP, what about jonbenet Ramsey murder. Her parents were accused and convicted because the cops and the media were lazy and dumb. That was a terrible miscarriage of justice.

I thought the general consensus was that she died at the hands of someone in her family (whether intentionally or not) and their 'discovery' of her body was a cover-up. There's no way someone executes a perfect crime like that - i mean breaking into the house, killing her, and then leaving without a trace- in this day and age and is not caught. I mean not a shred of evidence left behind by the killer.

They found an unidentified 3rd party's DNA under her fingernails and in her panties something like 7 years after her death. I think it was after the mom died of cancer IIRC. Terribly botched investigation. The parents were exonerated though.

Richard jewel wanted the fame of finding the pipe bomb. If he would have stayed in the background he would have never been in the media. Wanting his 15 minutes it is his own fault he got in the media crosshairs.

I never thought he personally did it, but I think he knows who did and this person or event surrounding it would have destroyed Condit even more than this scandal did.
