he spent heavily on campaign incidentals, including $14,000 on meals, $91,000 on videography, $56,000 on airfare, $14,000 on car rentals and $20,000 on security.
And this is why he doesn't need a job.
The fact that anyone gives him a damn dime tells you how stupid people are.

This entire "I've never held an actual job but I think I can adequately represent the people of my state in DC" bullshite is the result of one viral video that, much like most "activists," he is attempting to capitalize on in any way possible. This will be his 3rd failed attempt at politics.
If he had anything for brains he'd have held all his white guilt donation money instead of blowing it because it's his once the election is over.
I wonder what his next scheme will be

Grandpa would tell me of the rallies that Earl K. Long used to give. One he went to was on the parade ground at LSU. He said Earl gave every kid a quarter. He had a country/western band that would play between speeches. There was fried chicken, greens, watermelon, and ice cream. Earl would hand out alarm clocks and sacks of potatoes.
Does gravy even have any rallies ?

Gravy the Grifter has a nice ring to it.
Oooohhh, maybe a parody of Minnie the Moocher, but gravy the grifter
Minnie the Moocher from Blues Brothers
Folks here’s a song about Gravy the Grifter,
A no good low down shady shifter,
Fleecing dem folks on the campaign trail,
Eating free til he’s, as big as a whale,
Lie-dee-lie-dee-lie-dee-lie,
OTie-OTie-OTie-oh
Teedy-Teedy-Teedy-Tee
Gonna grift the folks some mo
He messed around with a bloke named silky,
Who cleaned his clock til his eyes went milky,
Then somebody made a viral video,
And gravy’s seeing how far his grift can go
Lie-dee-lie-dee-lie-dee-lie,
OTie-OTie-OTie-oh
Teedy-Teedy-Teedy-Tee
Gonna grift the folks some mo
He learned a little from a gal named Teedy,
Yeah she and Gravy wrote the book On greedy,
Being griftin politicians makes it easy to steal
Flying First class, high class at every meal,
Lie-dee-lie-dee-lie-dee-lie,
OTie-OTie-OTie-oh
Teedy-Teedy-Teedy-Tee
Gonna grift the folks some mo
I can do more…

If the guy truly had aspirations to help his neighbor you’d think he’d start out working in his community, eventually running for parish council or school board.
But not Gravey, he goes for the US Senate.

When has gravy ever showed restraint. You think he makes these decisions on his own? He’s a waddling moron. A particularly fat pawn. He’s making some people money, that’s all this is.
As long as they keep the food being shoveled into his gullet, he keeps the gravy train rolling

This clearly illustrates an odd case where a candidate soundly loses an election but wins by his unabridged grifting in the run up to election day.

...and both of them were pro-abortion ads. That should go over very will in pro-life Louisiana.
Do Leftists/Communists/Socialists/Democrats have anything else? It's very telling that their main issues have to do with bringing death or mutilation to their constituents.
Mandie Landry and the other one running in New Orleans are campaigning on the same issue. So we got Teedy, Helena, insane crime, horrific infrastructure timing, and what-have-you, but the Dems. run on abortion.
