Sentance in 30 years at hard labor
I haven't really followed. Where will he serve that? 30 years at OPP, I would be looking for a bus to jump in front of.

Thank you. That’s all I’m trying to say. Of course the murder is the worst part. I thought that could go without being said. Of course, Dire Wolf misses the obvious.

Ward will be lucky to get out before his 60th birthday.

Im thinking Angola with the Hard Labor Factor (working the fields)

How does that work? If he's sentenced to hard labor, what determines the facility where his sentence will be carried out? I thought that "hard labor" meant Angola.

man, one stupid drunken mistake and you're life is gone.

I think it's a false equivalency to call beating a man to death with your fists in public a "stupid drunken mistake."

He didnt beat him to death right then and there. He beat the shite out of him and the guy died in the hospital weeks later because of the beating (and the fact that his unhealthy body couldnt recover from it).

This is a different kind of "gated community" than he's used to.

I’d argue every punch was a stupid drunken mistake and he made a lot of them that night.
