I mean, it's a balancing act to decide what's most important to you as a voter. I'm sure you've been down the same road. Do I like hearing Biden talk about PC BLM bullshite? frick no.
Your concession is de facto support, and can be viewed through that lens.
Biden has the power to state that 81 million people support whatever position he takes. He can make that claim.
You may not like it, but that is the nature of the binary system we have created.

“Show me one source of this.”
“I said credible source.”
“Well that’s just one instance.”
“Well, that’s not evidence of a conspiracy.”
“Well, you just don’t understand it.”
“Well that’s because you’re the racist.”

Thanks. Made my point.
Someone in the thread is saying he has no problem making the threats and you just can't believe it is true.
I'm not saying there is hard evidence, I'm saying there is plenty of smoke to believe there is a fire.

Depends on the threat and what the person did. CRT I’d threaten to go to the press to get the teacher fired. Something beyond in sexual nature that would permanently damage the kid, no that person should be in jail. What that teacher did encouraging 4th graders to experiment with oral sex with each other, there’s no pit in hell deep enough for them.

Yet the only smoke you can muster is a shitty Newsweek article filled with hearsay and conjecture. You’d do great in a court room.
I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess you believe there was an “insurrection “ on Jan 6th, and you wear a mask while driving in your car?

So I should hold you, Scruffy, responsible personally for 1/6, MyPillow guy's shenanigans, you love Rudy Guiliani and think he should be a main voice in the President's ear, you're a huge fan of incredible nepotism and Kushner being put in charge of middle East peace, calling POW John McCain a "coward for being captured", supporting a guy with upwards of 20 sexual assault accusations including a current rape accusation from a prominent journalist, supporting the indiscriminate chemical spraying of peaceful protestors for a photo op, etc?
Why would I do that? I've read enough of your shite to know that you're definitely a partisan but you're not a fricking lunatic like many Trump folks. So why the frick would I hold you personally responsible for those things? Because you voted for the guy?
You voted for him because you believed his personal and policy blemishes didn't outweigh those policies you agreed with, and/or your distrust/dislike of Biden. It certainly doesn't intimate you endorse some of Trump's most abhorrent behavior.

Kushner being put in charge of middle East peace
Kushner oversaw the signings of 4 peace deals in the Middle East, you moron. The two biggest terrorists in the Middle East were killed in that time with almost no blowback. The Middle East was way better when he was negotiating than when Blinken has been. Blinken should be put on trial for treason and once convicted get the full penalty that charge entails.

Absolutely a fair point which I'll happily concede. That's much different from me blindly supporting and owning everything he says or does just because I cast my vote for him, imo.

TD ain't courtroom. I've seen enough unhinged individuals like OM that I believe people would make threats, even without intent to ever follow through. Their way of grabbing power in a powerless situation.
Nah, think Jan 6 was a bunch of people that would threaten over CRT and got wrapped up in trying to one up each other in showing how patriotic they are. They are ineffectual right wing equivalent of soy boys.
Seemed like no one in the group learned from the Battle of Bull Run.

Oh yeah, good point. He and his daddy-in-law did line up the Afghan withdrawal in exchange for releasing 5,000 Taliban prisoners. You know, the one you were here on TD lambasting as an incredibly irresponsible withdrawal?

You can’t hold me to anything.
I have yet to vote for a candidate who actually won the presidency in my life.
Had I voted for Trump in 2016, you could conceivably hold me responsible for his political positions and actions, yes.
quote:Because I would have voted for him.
Why would I do that?
With democracy comes a responsibility to bear the weight of your vote.
Again, no one can separate out their vote. You cannot do it and it is the flaw of a 1 or 0 binary system.
Hell, I’ll let you limit it to the candidate’s stated policy positions during the campaign if you like, although everything tends to branch off of that.

And I’m saying this is yet another false flag by this administration just like “white supremacists”, and Juicy smollett, and the hilariously failed “end Asian hate campaign “ that the numb nuts on the left tried to drum up to get Asian support by making them victims only to find out the Asian hate was coming overwhelmingly from NY and San Francisco and almost exclusively perpetrated by racist blacks.

Lindsay did a tweet breakdown of a Prince William County school board fracas that happened a couple of weeks ago today. - Story breaks, unruly parents get the meeting shut down, media there to document it - Time passes - Video comes out showing a county official flipped out when parents led the pledge/anthem, appeared to assault someone and screamed vulgarities at parents, leading to the end of the meeting and clearing of the building to avoid a brawl - Also shown in the video: Local news reporters FILMING the incident who would later characterize it as being the result of unruly parents
Where can I find these videos?

And out of the 5 major Taliban leaders currently in Afghanistan, 4 of them were released by Obama. They both had their flaws, but neither of them were dumb enough to evacuate the troops before our citizens, green cardholders, our allies, Afghan translators, their families, our equipment, and couldn’t be bothered telling the Afghan government we abandoned Bagram Airbase. I’m sorry, that’s the single dumbest thing a President has ever done and he should be thrown the frick out of office for it.

Every voter bears the responsibility and weight of their vote.
For example, 90% of Biden’s supporters could disagree with something he does tomorrow, but they put him in the White House, and therefore their vote supported his current actions.
You cannot separate the two.
You do not have to actively come out and verbally support it, but, guess what, your vote supports every action he takes.
Every one.
You could even verbally oppose his actions, but your vote still supports it.
You cannot take your vote back. It is the risk of voting.

That's what politics is. False flags to rally the constituency.
I literally have to watch. Fox news at work all day and the headlines are filled with emotional language meant to envoke emotion.
It isn't just one side that does this shite.
