Hell it's only $25 to get it graded through PSA with a ~30 day turnaround. If it's in PSA 8 or better, it would be worth $150+

These threads remind me that when I get old I’m going to take all my shite to one of those ebay consignment shops and then go do some hookers and blow with my grandkids.

AntiqueTiger, lot of haters in here, but I make plenty of side cash at garage sales. If I was retired, I literally think I’d make $50-75k/year on Thursdays and Fridays. Bought a Yeti Hopper last week for $20 bucks, sold for $250 30 minutes later of FB Marketplace. Flip life is for real.

Yes it did. She was about to put $10 on it because she thought it was just an empty ball holder (because it was in the holder box).
I had a feeling it may have a ball in it, so I opened it, finding the auto.

Sell it. What doesn’t sell, I give away or throw it away.

I can go out any Fri/Sat and make $200+. Like the old saying, 20+ years ago, if I knew then, what I knew now, I could have made $1000’s a weekend. Granted, eBay wasn’t around back then, so my sales would be limited.

But, I have said it many times, I don’t do this for money, I do it for the hunt. I see it like deer hunting. Buy something for $5 or less, sell it for $50-$100, it’s like dropping a doe. If it’s worth $100-$500, it’s a 6 point buck. $500+ is a twelve point, 200 lb buck. The money (meat) is nice, but it’s just lagniappe. It’s all about the hunt.

I’ve got a photograph of Babe Ruth when he famously called his shot that is signed by him. I’ve never thought about selling, but your threads have made me wonder what it’s really worth.

It’s is a small photograph made by someone in the stands, or a professionally taken photograph?

If it’s professionally taken, it’s probably not worth much because it has probably been reproduced a million times.

Edit:
I just saw it’s signed. That $5000-$10,000

I’ll keep it for that amount of money. I don’t think it’s professionally taken. I’ve never seen another one like it.

The story goes that my grandfather won it playing poker in New Orleans after the war. No idea if that’s true or not, but that’s what everyone said
