Garage sale finds 10/15 (surprise inside)

There was only one estate sale today, they didn’t have anything.
I bought this 1954 Tupperware cake/pie holder, and a set of bear claws (I need some)
At another estate sale I help price stuff, I bought these ravioli makers (keeping them)
And got these cast iron griddle and skillet for free
Now this last thing, you gonna laugh your arse off. Two weeks ago, I would have never paid them two seconds of time. I learned from a few videos that people pay BIG money for these.
Seven mint in package, dated 1990-1994, Calvin Klein underwear, and one pack of Perry Ellis. I paid $30 for these.
Before you laugh (I laughed when I first saw them buy them on the video), look them up on eBay.
Here is one that sold LINK eBay

How in the world did you find out those were worth money?

People collect MIB underwear. I think I’ve heard it all now

Skillet needs a little work

The bigger question is why someone has boxes of 40 year old underwear in the first place.

More like heavy medication.

Probably the same type that buys 40 yr old underwear.

In a few months, you'll be making a thread about your family putting you on the show "Hoarders".

Jealous of the bear paws.
Also, you’re helping people price things now?

I've got some 40 year scivvies I'll sell you. I'll have to charge you double because they have been distressed to really look vintage.

Wait till his a-hole starts itching, that old arse cotton isn’t gonna stand a chance. Fingers are gonna look like a king size snickers

I’ve done it a few times, when they have LSU stuff, sports stuff.
I found a signed Mickey Mantle ball today, a 1993 Topps Jeter gold rookie.

The cast iron stuff will clean up. Sandblast them hit them with a fine grit tiger disc, reseason them, and you would never want to cook on anything else.
First thing I do even if I buy brand new cast iron is sand it down smooth, and reseason it. It will never wear out, and the more you use them, the better they get.

Who hosts a garage sale on a Thursday and who goes shopping garage sales on a Thursday?
The underwear is weird AF.

If I would have known to keep my dad's banana hammocks for sale 40 years laters, I'd be rich. Talk about missed investment opportunities.

The elastic on those drawers are shot.

Cool Jeter, too bad it's not worth much unless it's PSA 9 or 10. Those were pretty easy to obtain back when and have a stupid high PSA pop

This is a gold Jeter, not the regular one. It sells on eBay for $200-$250 (ungraded)

Yeah, I see it now. I guess I gotta break the bad news to the lady. I’m not sure what I saw for $250
