I chased a buddy all around his yard during an LSU game shooting him with his Airsoft gun. Would NOT do that with even a modestly powered $50 .177 bb gun from Walmart.

you are seriously out of touch, kids dont buy BB guns anymore but just about every male kid i know over the age of 12 has an arsenal of airsoft guns.

It will not be a surprise to law enforcement when one, or more, of the children detained gets arrested for firing a lethal weapon at another human. It will be a surprise to the public since we will not learn the names of the children.

how can you claim you've never heard of this?
there are three HUGE airsoft fields in nashville alone..maybe baton rouge is behind-the-times but every 12yo+ male kid i know has at least 4-5 airsoft weapons and plays at least 2-3x a year.

I guess it depends if you are wearing rt clothing. Pants, long sleeve shirts. But I also remember our bb guns back in the day were weak as shite. Sure you could kill a lil bird at close range, but those things wouldn't really break your skin, not like a paint ball could.
We had air soft wars in college, those things could sting a lil. I'd imagine though if you were actually shooting metal balls out of some of those instead of plastic, they would hurt like a mofo. Then take 6 people shooting you at once. Yeah frick that.
