Did you not drill down into any of those guns? every one of them mentions a specific pellet that can reach 1000+fps.
Just because you can find a Youtube Video claiming 1000fps doesn't mean vendors are lining up to advertise that on their websites. You know ... that thing they call false advertising? Maybe that's why.
didn't take a lot of research to find that Airsoft DOES NOT reach 1000fps unless some uber-dork mods the frick out of something in his mom's garage. Hardly a $30 quick mod as you mentioned.
Now go email WBRZ and see if these kids had Airsoft guns or BB guns. That's the only debate left here that you can win.

Apparently more than you if I proved in 5 minutes that Airsoft doesn't make guns that fire plastic projectiles on full-auto at 1000fps.
Send me a link to that gun. Not a youtube claiming it.
