Why would it be unacceptable to tuck a shirt into shorts? What about playing golf, etc? Is it because shorts are casual? In that case, what is your stance on tucking in a shirt with jeans? Please, oh please, someone argue that jeans can be "dressy".

I don't know I don't care enough what other grown men think about what I wear

Nobody here cares if you have a girlfriend

Luckily you've come to the right place

She also thinks tucking my penis into her arse is acceptable too.

You shouldn't wear a long sleeve shirt with shorts. Tucking anything into shorts is stupid.
Some people can pull it off. Just depends on your body type.

If somebody doesn't tuck their shirt I assume they're trying to hide their gut.

Post pics of the gf. If I approve, I will tell her how she should tuck in her shirt.

What about playing golf, etc?

Untucked button down shirts looks stupid.

If warm enough for shorts then why long sleeves? Shorts are for casual wear. Golf shirt or tee shirts
Posted on 8/9/15 at 2:25 pm to shel311
I think it looks silly to not tuck a shirt in unless it's cut to be worn not tucked in.

When are you getting engaged
Posted on 8/9/15 at 2:31 pm to Makinbacon
If you're over 30, tucking in your shirt should be close to mandatory... That said, a button-up? Yes. Long sleeve T-shirt? No.
But if your SO thinks you look good like that, then I wouldn't push it... I mean, who gives a shite if the trim that they're going home with likes a certain look?
I say do what she says and stfu about how you "think" you look.
It'll be better in the long run.
