Funny how NONE of the activist here in BR are saying a single word about this.
Way too many murders no matter what side of the town you live in.

NeNe Deshay doesn't sound like Erneisha Barnes.

I believe the mayor president recently tweeted something about how most of the homicides were domestic violence.
I don't think EBR has seen a domestic violence killing since July/August.

NeNe Deshay is her Facebook name. When I saw the initial news last night I went to Facebook and found who the hood was buzzing about. Google Erneisha Barnes. But you are right they don’t sound the same. Same person though.

I have two very simple questions for the Gary Chambers, Silky Slims, Cleve Dunns, Chauna Banks, Denise Marcelles, and Mayor Broomes of the Baton Rouge Community:
1. What will police reform do to reduce the above list?
Well, considering these people are already dead, nothing. But police reform that leads to the black community being able to feel safe when dealing with police will promote more cooperation between police departments and the community. This will lead to better and more effective policing and less crime over time.
quote:
2. Why is Sterling's death, which is an anomaly when compared to the list of names above, more important than any of the deaths listed?
It's not and no one is saying it is. That's your own projection.
The difference between unnecessary police shootings and other gun crime is that, when the shooter isn't a cop, the shooter, if known, is apprehended and put on trial for his or her crimes.
